Established in 2003, Forecast Pictures is a French company dedicated to international movie production and financing.

Launched initially as a consulting outlet for independents producers looking for alternate investments solutions, Forecast has quickly delved into the thrill of movie production, starting 2006 with the 20 million Euro epic “O Jerusalem” - a 20M€ historical film based on the book by Lapierre and Collins which was released in the US by Samuel Goldwyn .

Soon followed Walled In (2008), a thriller directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner starring Mischa Barton, Deborah Kara Unger and Cameron Bright, and Celle que j’aime (2008) a french romantic comedy directed by Elie Chouraqui and starring Marc Lavoine, Gérard Darmon and Barbara Schulz.

In 2009, Forecast Pictures wrapped the production of Lullaby for Pi. A film made in co-production with Oscar winning producer Killer Films (Boys don’t Cry, I’m Not There) and Minds Eye Entertainment. The film stars Oscar winner Forest Whitaker (Last King of Scotland, Bird), Rupert Friend (“Cheri”, “The Libertine”), Clémence Poésy (Harry Potter, In Bruges) and Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break). 

Currently finishing post-production on Julien Magnat’s Faces in the Crowd, starring Milla Jovovich, Forecast Pictures are also coproducing Pascal Laugier’s The Tall Man, starring Jessica Biel, that started shooting 20th September 2010.

In 2009, Forecast Pictures also set foot in the animation world by partnering with French animation studio TeamTo and acquiring the rights to produce a 3D-animated TV series of the famous character Felix the Cat. Production of the TV series is set to start in January 2011.

Forecast Pictures have developed their own slate of projects including the epic movie "Ibn Battuta" by Pan Nalin (Samsara) and the next Alain Berliner project, Peau d'Âne.
